XBUP - Support: XB Service

Applications XBService is a runtime service, which provides the functionality of a local catalog and management of transformation modules for the operating system. It's possible to obtain the requested information using defined interfaces.

Applications are only used to test and verify the design concept and test data processing.

Application provides following features:

• Opening and receive data at defined interface
• Maintenance and management of the catalog specifications
• Maintenance and management of transformation modules
• Performing Operations
  • Transformation path construction and its application to data
  • Accessing of catalog content to applications
  • Maintenance of state transfers
  • Interprocess communication
  • Distributed computing spreading

Application acts as a remote service call service by the general interface of the data stream. For testing purposes, normal network interface and UDP will be used.
